Although some aspects of Benjamin Creme's endless and tireless promotion of the Maitreya seem almost laughable - fit only for a B Grade science fiction movie, one would not be wise to relegate all his claims to the scrap heap. Albeit with quite a few embellishments the bones of this belief tally perfectly with the monstrous evil long foretold by Scripture - but little understood by those claiming a wonderful New Age is about to dawn.
Along with many other individuals like Alice Bailey, and countless organizations based on “Ancient Wisdom’ teachings he was just one more cog in the wheel of world wide preparation for The Antichrist - an instrument in the hands of an evil he could not possibly imagine. As the Bible prophesied so many years ago.

Who Was Benjamin Creme?
Benjamin Creme (December 1922 - October 2016) was a Scottish artist, author, esotericist, and founding editor of Share International magazine - a non-profit educational group with sister groups in over 20 countries. Share International has long been the principal source of information about the emergence of Maitreya - an Ascended Master or perfected being  - the Buddha of the future who, along with others of his ilk, will come to teach humanity how to live peacefully and prosperously with one another. In an article entitled Benjamin Creme: a messenger of hope, Share International related how Creme began his journey down this path.
"Throughout his early years Creme also studied various aspects of esoteric philosophy, in particular the teachings released in the late 1800s through Helena Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society, and more recently through Alice A. Bailey.
Although these teachings led him to believe in the existence of the Masters of Wisdom, a group of perfected individuals who are the custodians of the Divine Plan for this planet. it nevertheless came as a complete surprise to him when, in 1959, he was contacted by one of the Masters. He was told, among other things, that Maitreya, the World Teacher, the Master of all the Masters, would return in about 20 years and that he (Creme) would have a role to play in the event if he chose to accept it. Benjamin Creme himself describes how the telepathic link between him and his duplicitous crony was strengthened
"Towards the end of 1972, when I was rather in the doldrums and least expecting it, that wise and wily one whom I have the privilege to call Master, pounced. He took me in hand, and subjected me to the most intensive period of de-glamorisation, disillusioning, training and preparation. For months we worked together, 20 hours a day, deepening and strengthening the telepathic link until it was two-way with equal ease requiring the minimum of his attention and energy.
He forged in this period an instrument through whom he could work, and which would be responsive to his slightest impression (of course, with my complete cooperation and without the slightest infringement of my free will). Everything I see and hear, he sees and hears. When he wishes, a look from me can be a look from him; my touch, his. So, with the minimum expenditure of energy he has a window on the world, an outpost of his consciousness; he can heal and teach. He himself remains, in a fully physical body, thousands of miles away". [03]
After which Creme traveled the globe "helping to create a climate of hope and expectancy for the World Teacher".
The "World Teacher"
A large branch of the New Age movement believes that the utopian age will only come about under the leadership and guidance of one of these masters - a world leader/teacher who is called by various names including The Christ, Sanat Kumara or Maitreya. They contend that Buddha, Muhammad, Confucius, Jesus, and many others were "christs", but one greater than all of them will soon come to usher in the New Age and save the world from sliding into chaos.
In fact, because many of the world's religions anticipate and look forward to a 'savior' it is very easy to image how the Maitreya will be welcomed with open arms by so many.
"Throughout history, when humanity has reached a major point of crisis, the Spiritual Hierarchy has sent a Teacher to show the way forward. The most well-known of these divine messengers are Krishna, Buddha, Confucius, Jesus and Mohammed. Each of their teachings gave birth to a new religion.
Virtually every spiritual tradition now expects the return of their revered Teacher to validate the past and to carry on the teaching. Christians await the Christ; Jews, the Messiah; Muslims, the Imam Mahdi or Messiah; Buddhists, the Fifth Buddha; and Hindus, the Lord Krishna. In the esoteric tradition, one individual - the World Teacher - is seen as the fulfillment of all these expectations. [04]
Who is Maitreya?
The short answer is - one of the Ascended Masters.
Derived from the Theosophical concept of Masters of Wisdom or "Mahatmas", Ascended Masters are believed to be spiritually enlightened beings who in past incarnations were ordinary humans with physical bodies. In Buddhist tradition they are called "Bodhisattvas" - although they have reached a sufficiently high level of spiritual awareness, they have voluntarily postponed entering nirvana in order to remain on the earth-plane for the benefit of humanity i.e. help all sentient beings achieve liberation
They are said to live on various different mountains throughout the world (the Himalayas, Mount Shasta and Grand Teton in the USA; Luxor in Egypt; Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania; Ben MacDhui in Scotland etc.) but are alleged to work from Shamballa - a mythical Buddhist kingdom that is said to exist somewhere between the Himalayas and the Gobi Desert or a hidden location in Tibet called 'Shigatse.'
Helena Blavatsky
The "Ascended Masters" first came into public consciousness by way of Helena Blavatsky (1831-1891) a Russian spiritualist, author, and cofounder of the Theosophical Society. She played a primary role in the revival of interest in esoteric and occult ideas and was largely responsible for bringing knowledge of Eastern religion and philosophy to the West.
Although there is no consensus on the matter, Blavatsky is believed to have lived for some years in the Himalayas and channeled messages from spirit guide "Master Kuthumi" and 'Master Morya".
In her book The Secret Doctrine, Blavatsky called the "Biblical Jehovah" the "spiteful and revengeful God of Abram, Isaac, and Jacob who tempted the former and wrestled with the last" [05]

The World Teacher for the current time is Maitreya, the 'eldest brother' in the human family and head of the Spiritual Hierarchy. Preferring to be known simply as the Teacher, Maitreya has not come to found a new religion, but to act as a guide and counselor for all humanity - regardless of religious affiliation.... Maitreya will reveal a new aspect of God. He will lead us to the recognition of our own divinity and our true identity as souls". [06]

He will launch a call to action to save the millions of people who starve to death every year in a world of plenty. Under Maitreya's inspiration, humanity itself will make the required changes and create a saner and more just world for all". [07].
The Prophecy:
However there is another side to this.
Although Shamballa is often revered as a paradise representing spiritual enlightenment, peace, and tranquility, it is also associated with the Kalachakra Tantra and is the prophesied birthplace of the Kalki, who will overcome dark forces to usher in a new, golden age.
Although the subject is complicated suffice to say that the Kalachakra tantra - the name of a series of Buddhist texts and a major practice lineage in Indian Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism - prophesies that when the world declines into war and greed, and all is lost, the 25th Kalki king Maitreya will emerge from Shambhala with a huge army to vanquish Dark Forces and usher in a worldwide Golden Age.
Its teachings and initiations have been offered to large public audiences, most famously by the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso. And no, Kalki will not come to vanquish dark forces but once again in this whole sorry story his target is anything but.
In fact, Alice Bailey, said the "Shamballa force" from the invisible dimensions led by the Lord Maitreya will be "destructive" and would eject unbelievers from the earth

Benjamin Creme's teachings go hand in hand with those of Alice Bailey who, under the guidance of an ectoplasmic apparition from hell (Djwhal Khu aka "The Tibetan"), wrote some 24 books and founded the Lucis Trust (formerly Lucifer Publishing Co.) that enjoys "Consultative Status" with the United Nations. It has not only spawned several other organization (the Arcane School, Triangles, World Goodwill, Lucis Publishing, Lucis Productions, Lucis Trust Libraries, the New Group of World Servers) but also maintain the UN meditation room.
And the purpose of these groups? At their core ALL of them exist for one purpose - to prepare the world for "the return of the Christ". In their words (Please note the capitalization of 'great ones' and 'them'.
"the helping of the Great Ones and the rendering to Them of that intelligent assistance which will make their plans for humanity materialize. [08]
As Alice Bailey claimed
"The Son of God is on His way, and He cometh not alone. His advance guard is already here, and the Plan which they must follow, is already made clear". [09].
Except that this "Son of God" has nothing to do with Jesus Christ of the Bible. Lucis Trust says,
If men look for the Christ Who left His disciples centuries ago, they will fail to recognise the Christ Who is in process of returning. The Christ has no religious barriers in His consciousness. It matters not to Him of what faith a man may call himself. [10].

Creating The 'Right' Conditions For The Return:
Since, according to Alice Bailey's ectoplasmic friend Djwhal Khul (The Tibetan), "humanity itself must first produce the conditions in consciousness and in world affairs essential to the eventual physical appearance of the Christ", they seek to raise spiritual awareness, especially by the reciting of the Great Invocation and occult meditation through which energy is transmitted to humanity.
This is particularly true at the Full Moon is when spiritual energies are uniquely available and facilitate a closer rapport between humanity and the Hierarchy.
And if you think these beliefs are limited to a few scattered kooks you couldn't be more wrong. In recent years there has been an explosion of individuals and organizations (both large and small) who are actively working towards creating the conditions necessary for this event.

Many, if not most, non-Christians assume that Christianity is a "blind faith"... that Christians ignore reality and have unquestioning loyalty to an absolute belief system without proof or evidence. 1.) Jesus is an Ascended Master...
In an The Ageless Wisdom interview with Benjamin Creme, Rollin Olson asked him how the hierarchy is structured to which he replied that they (All Emphasis Added)
share a consciousness; They have no separate consciousness as personalities. They can never say "I," because They have no sense of I. They are a group with group consciousness. At Their head is the Master of all the Masters, whose personal name is Maitreya. ... There are 60 Masters, and three Great Lords, as They are called. Maitreya is one of these three. Maitreya holds the office of World Teacher, and embodies the energy we call the Christ Principle or Consciousness, the second aspect of the Christian trinity.
Two thousand years ago He overshadowed His disciple Jesus for three years and Jesus became Jesus the Messiah, or, translated into the Greek, Jesus the Christ.
The Christ Himself is Maitreya. His consciousness, from the baptism to the crucifixion, manifested through Jesus and inaugurated the Piscean age which is now coming to an end. Maitreya has come back into the world now to carry on what He began through Jesus, and will complete in the age of Aquarius which is now beginning". [11]

The Gospel of John opens with the words
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. (John 1:1-3 NASB)
In fact there are over 40 other New Testament verses that refer to Jesus as being the Son of God. Here are a few examples,
Whenever the unclean spirits saw Him, they would fall down before Him and shout, "You are the Son of God!" (Mark 3:11 NASB)
The angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God. (Luke 1:35 NASB)
but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name. (John 20:31 NASB)
How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews 10:29 NASB)
Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:5 NASB)
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. (Hebrews 4:14 NASB)
Comparing Jesus With Other Religious Leaders... Why Jesus Is Without Equal
The claim to authority made by the founders of most religions is generally based on visions they claim to have had, and/or their own experiences or wisdom. However, since anyone can claim to be divine, be divinely inspired, or have mystical visions or experiences, all of these religions stand or fall on something which no one can prove or disprove. All we have to go on is what the founder of the religion said (blind faith), and whether the teachings seem to work in our own lives. Good enough? It shouldn’t be.

When it comes to Christianity, perhaps the most common disagreement is not whether a person called Jesus ever lived, but who exactly He was. Many people see Jesus as simply a great moral teacher, perhaps even an extraordinary "way-shower". Others believe that He was a God in Heaven who divested Himself of His 'Godhood' when He came to earth. Various New Age groups regard Jesus as no more than a man who achieved enlightenment.
Because the practical implications for every person on this planet are enormous the answer to the question of who Jesus really was shouldn’t be filed under 'differences of opinion and left at that. If Jesus was not who he claimed to be and was not who the Bible says He is only one of three conclusions is a logical possibility. He was (1) an evil lying villain, (2) a preposterously deluded madman someone we can and should ignore.
On the other hand if Jesus really is (3) the Messiah, the Son of God we need to sit up and pay very close attention to what He had to say.

2.) Jesus Never Left The World.
According to Creme Christians
"expect the Christ "at the end of the world." Actually, He came at the end of the age, not the end of the world. At the end of the world, when the whole world is disintegrating, they expect Him to come down on a cloud into Jerusalem. They think He is sitting up in heaven but the Christ has been no nearer "heaven" than the high Himalayas, 17,500 feet up, for the last thousands of years.
And it is from there that He comes into the world, not from this mythical heaven. Heaven is a state of being. The kingdom of heaven is within, as Jesus Himself taught. It is the Spiritual Hierarchy of which He is a member. [12]

Ephesians tells us that God
"... raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. (Ephesians 1:20-21 NASB)
Jesus spoke of His ascension as an established fact, once to his disciples before his death and once to Mary Magdalene immediately after his resurrection
"What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before? (John 6:62 NASB)
Jesus *said to her, "Mary!" She turned and *said to Him in Hebrew, "Rabboni!" (which means, Teacher). Jesus *said to her, "Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.'" The ascension was witnessed by all the disciples He ascended from the Mount of Olives
And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. (Luke 24:50-51 NASB)
Acts 1: 9-11 is even more specific.. telling us that while the apostles were gazing upwards after a cloud that had hidden Jesus from their site, an angel appeared and asked why they were looking into Heaven as Jesus would come back in just the same way as they saw Him go.
And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. They also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven." (Acts 1:9-11 NASB)
After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to many people over a period of forty days
To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God. (Acts 1:3 NASB)
Revelation 1:7 states that one His return every eye shall see him including those that pierced him - The Living And The Dead.
behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen. (Revelation 1:7 NASB)

3.) The Antichrist Is "Not A Man But An Energy"
Benjamin Creme posits that the antichrist is "not a man but an energy" (Emphasis Added)
The anti-Christ is not a man, as Christians believe, who will come out before the Christ, and could even be mistaken for the Christ. The idea comes from the Revelation of St. John: the beast, 666, is unchained for a time, and then chained down for a time and half a time. This refers to the release of the energy we call the anti-Christ. It is not a man but an energy, a destructive force which is deliberately released to break down the old order, the old civilization.
It was released in John's own day, through the Emperor Nero, to bring about the end of the Roman dispensation, to prepare the way for Christendom.
It was released again in our time through Hitler, a group of equally evil men around him in Nazi Germany, together with a group of militarists in Japan and a further group around Mussolini in Italy. These three groups, the Axis powers in the war from 1939 to 1945, embodied the energy we call the anti-Christ. That destructive force was released to prepare the way for the return of the Christ to the world now... [13]

What we know of the antichrist does NOT come solely from the 666 of Revelation but from several Scriptural verses, one of which clearly referring to the antichrist as "the man of lawlessness" adding that "he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. 4.) ... That Has Already Come and Gone
According to Benjamin Creme,
The anti-Christ is behind us; it has been, it has done its destructive work, it has gone. Now it has to be "chained down for a time and half a time". This means sealed off to its own domain for the age of Aquarius — that is "the time" — and half the following age, the age of Capricorn, when it will be released again. [14]
The Bible Disagrees
In Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians who, fearing that they had missed the rapture, caused Paul to describe the sequence of events explaining that certain events had to first take place.
(3) Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, (4) who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. (5) Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? (6) And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. (7) For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. (8) Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; (2 Thessalonians 2:3-8 NASB)
In other words, not only is the antichrist a man (the antitype of Antiochus IV Epiphanes, ruler of the Seleucid kingdom set up by one of Alexander's four generals) but the antichrist appearance on the scene had to be preceded by 1. the apostasy or falling away, and 2. the restrainer being taken out of the way.
Although we cannot be completely sure who or what the restrainer is or when he will be taken away, the apostasy is already in full bloom which means the antichrist ("man of sin" or a "lawless one") isn't too far away. The next step will be the persecution of the church.

If one carefully compares what Jesus said in Matthew 24 (the Olivet Discourse) with the Seals of Revelation 6 it becomes very clear that the Seals represent the persecution of Christians.
Maitreya's Future Coming.. Peace Or Destructive?
Peaceful?
Share International claims that he is already present in the world, but is preparing to make an open declaration of his presence in the near future. They claim that he has not come alone, but with a group of "wise Teachers who have long guided humanity from behind the scenes", and that "They are returning to the everyday world to help us solve our most critical global problems".
At the earliest possible moment, Maitreya will reveal his true identity. Eventually, through a growing public response to his presence and ideas, he will be invited to speak to the entire world. On this Day of Declaration, Maitreya will be seen on television worldwide via linked satellite networks. He will mentally 'overshadow' all of humanity simultaneously and everyone (over the age of 14) will hear his words inwardly, telepathically, in their own language.
Even those who are not watching Maitreya on television will have this experience. His energy of love will enter the hearts of all, galvanizing humanity to save the world. At the same time, hundreds of thousands of spontaneous healings will take place throughout the world. In this way we will know that Maitreya is truly the World Teacher for all humanity. [15]
In fact Creme says this day will be a reenactment of Pentecost.
We will see his face, but he will not speak. His thoughts, his ideas, his call to humanity for justice, sharing, right relationships and peace, will take place silently, telepathically. Each of us will hear him inwardly in our own language. In this way, he will re-enact on a worldwide scale the true happenings of Pentecost 2,000 years ago... In celebration of this event, Pentecost will become one of the major festivals of the New World Religion which, eventually, Maitreya will inaugurate. [16]
Destructive?
However while Creme and others portray this Maitreya as a peaceful world teacher there are some conflicting ideas. For example in an address at the Arcane School Conference in Geneva, Switzerland, Alice Bailey suggested that the "Shamballa force" - the force from the invisible dimensions led by the Lord Maitreya will be "destructive." She also said it would eject unbelievers from the earth:
"The decision to release the Shamballa force during this century into direct contact with the human kingdom is one of the final and most compelling acts of preparation for the New Age. The Shamballa force is destructive and ejective ... inspiring new understanding of The Plan.. It is this force ... which will bring about that tremendous crisis, the initiation of the race into the mysteries of the ages. [17]
The Dalai Lama -
What you see is not always what you get. Behind this smiling "Man of Peace" is a very sinister teaching. He believes in and teaches on the coming of the Maitreya, that some legends equate with Kalki, the doomsday avatar of Vishnu and which the Bible calls the antichrist..
In fact, he has initiated thousands of people into the Kalachakra initiation, part of which is the Shambhala myth which prophecies and promotes, a "holy war" (Shambhala war) by Buddhists against non-Buddhists, in which "supremely ferocious warriors will throw down the barbarian hordes" and "eliminate" them. The myth of Shambhala first appears in early Kalachakra Buddhist texts that according to some scholars stemmed from memories of an ancient kingdom that once existed in the area. The capital city is Kalapa and the rulers are from the Kalki Dynasty. According to the Kalachakra texts, the world will descend into darkness and chaos around the year 2400 CE, but the twenty-fifth Kalki king, the prophesied tenth and final incarnation of the god Vishnu, will emerge from Shambhala with a huge army to vanquish "enemies of the Dharma" and usher in a worldwide thousand-year Golden Age.
In other words it predicts a bloody war in which the 'barbarians' will be defeated. And who are these 'barbarians'?
The (Kalachakra) text explicitly names the"leaders"of the three monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) as opponents of Buddhism: "Adam, Enoch, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, the White-Clad one [Mani], Muhammad and Mathani [the Mahdi].” The Kalachakra Tantra describes them as "the family of the demonic snakes" (Shri Kalachakra I. 154).
The Buddhist art of war in the Shambhala battles is obviously at odds with basic human rights, and is instead described in the original text as "merciless" and "cruel.” "The supremely ferocious [Buddhist] warriors will cast down the barbarian horde" and "eliminating" them "together with their followers.” (Shri Kalachakra I. 163/165). [18]
The Rider on A White Horse
The Encyclopaedia Britannica adds a very telling detail (Emphasis Added)
At the end of the present Kali yuga (age), when virtue and dharma have disappeared and the world is ruled by the unjust, Kalkin will appear to destroy the wicked and to usher in a new age. He will be seated on a white horse with a naked sword in his hand, blazing like a comet. [19]
This is supported by the Bhagavata Purana (possibly composed between 750 and 1000 AD) considered to be the purest and greatest of all ancient Hindu texts. They foretell that the sword wielding Kalki riding a white horse is the harbinger of the end time. He will usher in Satya Yuga (the era of truth, or the golden age).
The ascetic prince, Lord Kalki, the Lord of the Universe, will mount His swift white horse Devadatta and, sword in hand, travel over the earth exhibiting His eight mystic opulences and eight special qualities of Godhead. Displaying His unequaled effulgence and riding with great speed, He will kill by the millions those thieves who have dared dress as kings. [20]
The rider and his 'White Horse' is very familiar to Christians - However, the book of Revelation mentions TWO identically mounted riders with the result that many think John was referring to Christ both times'
THIS IS NOT THE CASE.
The similarity begins and ends with the fact that both riders are astride similarly colored mounts. The rider in Revelation 19:11 is Christ. The rider in Revelation 6:2 is none other than the Antichrist who is portrayed as riding a white horse simply because he seeks to take the place of Christ.

The True Identity of This 'World Teacher'
Compare what Alice B. Bailey wrote in Initiation: Human and Solar with what the Scriptures told us centuries earlier. (All Emphasis Added)
'After the great descent of the spiritual Existences [the Masters] to the earth, the work they planned to do was systematised. Offices were apportioned, and the processes of evolution in all the departments of nature were brought under the conscious wise guidance of this initial Brotherhood. This Hierarchy of Brothers of Light still exists, and the work goes steadily on. They are all in physical existence, either in dense physical bodies, such as many of the Masters employ, or in etheric bodies, such as the more exalted helpers and the Lord of the World occupy...
The central home of this Hierarchy is at Shambhala, a centre in the Gobi Desert, called in the ancient books the "White Island". It exists in etheric matter, and when the race of men on earth have developed etheric vision its location will be recognised and its reality admitted... Several of the Masters in physical bodies dwell in the Himalayan mountains, in a secluded spot called Shigatse, far from the ways of men, but the greater number are scattered all over the world, dwelling in different places in the various nations, unrecognised and unknown, yet forming each in His own place a focal point for the energy of the Lord of the World'. [21]
1. Alice Bailey was apparently not told where the Masters were before they made their 'great descent to earth' however, the Biblical book of Revelation supplies the missing information saying (At the very least one has to admit the very remarkable similarity between the two accounts)
And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war, and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. (Revelation 12:7-9 NASB)
2. Bailey wrote that the masters provide a 'focal point for the energy of the Lord of the World'. Paul called Satan "the god of this world"
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4 NASB)
And Jesus referred to Satan as the 'ruler of this world'
"Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. (John 12:31 NASB)
"I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me; (John 14:30 NASB)
and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged. (John 16:11 NASB)
3. Bailey also stated that the Hierarchy was based in Shambhala in the Gobi Desert, that exists in etheric matter. (Helena Blavatsky posited that the Masters or Mahatmas had transcended the physical plane and existed in the astral or ethereal plane that sits atop the material plane - a supernatural plane of existence. Compare this with Ephesians 2:2 and 6:12 tell that in which Paul wrote Satan is “prince of the power of the air”. Furthermore, Paul says the fallen angels are 'spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places'
in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.(Ephesians 6:12 NASB)
No Proof Or Evidence Asked For, And None Received.

Benjamin Creme says he leaves it "to a study of the quality of the Messages themselves to convince or otherwise". [22]
Someone tell me he was joking!
There is no "quality" in these messages just incomprehensible, wordy, pompous jargon much less one single bit of evidence that any of it is true. For example, why haven't these 'Masters of Wisdom" made a single definite prophecy that has actually been fulfilled? Wouldn't fulfilled prophecy be one of the best ways to establish the authenticity and validity of the claims made... that the speaker can indeed tell us what is going to happen?
They haven't done so simply because they are not omnipotent and cannot see the future. Only God can do that. So they have sought to cover the duplicity of their claims with streams of elaborate, even tortuous blather. But then, there may be a method to their madness. It certainly seems that the more convoluted the language, the more people go Ooh! And Ah!, The more enigmatic (read ridiculous) the principle, the more impressed they are with the 'wisdom' of the speaker.
Seemingly all a person has to do is come up with a lot of profound sounding statements and thousands, who have checked their brains in at the door, will follow them anywhere.

Many, if not most, non-Christians assume that Christianity is a "blind faith"... that Christians ignore reality and have unquestioning loyalty to an absolute belief system without proof or evidence. In fact, that they believe contrary to all evidence and facts. Much to the contrary, the Christian faith is a commitment based on evidence. The Judeo-Christian faith consistently stresses the importance of truth and makes appeal to evidence to support it's truth claims.
In fact, it is actually quite remarkable as to how many times, God, Jesus, and the prophets of both the Old and New Testaments, appealed to facts to support what they said and taught. This evidence includes its humanly impossible authorship, fulfilled prophecy, and its archaeological and scientific accuracy... none of which are seen in the books of other religions like the Quran, the Bhagavad-Gita, the writings of Confucius, or the Book of Mormon.
Maitreya and his cohorts have provided NONE
And look what happened when someone asked for 'proof'
Wayne Peterson and The Falling Tree
Wayne Peterson is not exactly an unsophisticated country bumpkin. He was first a member of the Peace Corps and the American Diplomatic Service, then director of the U.S. Government's Fulbright Scholarship Program - a branch of the State Department that sends American students and teachers abroad and brings foreign students and teachers to the United States. He was "first director of the program's activities in Latin America, then became director of its activities in East Asia and the Pacific Islands". [23]
Regardless, he fell for all the blather after seeing an interview of television with Benjamin Creme and tells a rather disturbing story of crossing Fourth Street in DC at ten am one morning with, unusually, no traffic in either direction.
Halfway across the street he began to experience pain and his feet would no longer move. He even attempted to lift a leg with his hands - to no avail. He closed his eyes then suddenly heard what sounded like thunder and the sound of wind and felt the earth shake beneath him. At which all the pain was instantly gone and he opened his eyes to find himself buried in a tangle of tree limbs that completely surrounded him. It was the splitting of the tree that sounded like thunder and the falling branches that sounded like the wind.
Amazingly he was not injured (Had he been even a foot further or six inches to the right, he would have been killed by a huge limb) but as he climbed out he heard a loud voice in his head that said "Please do not ask again for proof of my physical existence"
Peterson writes that he immediately knew "the Masters had chosen this rather dramatic way to answer my request for proof of out meeting in Honolulu". And that it was very "inappropriate" of him to have asked the Master for physical proof of their contact with him.
In his book - Extraordinary Times, Extraordinary Beings: Experiences of an American Diplomat with Maitreya and the Masters of Wisdom he wrote,
"if we want to work with them, we have to accept the fact that they will contact us at their convenience, not ours, and on their terms”
It seems to have escaped Wayne Peterson that all this incident proved is that these so called "masters" can knock over trees to say nothing of being arrogant and dictatorial.
